The Father of SqwishLand

SqwishLand toys and the virtual game SqwishLand.com undeniably have a huge following. Kids today are crazy about SqwishLand. If you're one of the avid fans of the soft ‘n squishy toys, you might be wondering how this all began. Who is the person that started this soft n' squishy craze?

Get to know the father of SqwishLand, Dax Logue! In this article by TD monthly, he tells us how the idea started and what challenges he had to face to get to where he is today.

Here's a sneak peek of the interview:
Q. How did you come up with the idea for your first product?

A. I used to use other companies’ IP to promote a design. One day, after sending out a $175,000 check to the IP holder I said, "I could come up with toys kids would like and keep this expenditure in house." Shortly after that, I formed my own studio and we started studying the market for what was hot. I guess the answer to your question is we studied trends and jumped in!
